# Coverage Overview: Sports, Events, and Assignments

North Texas Sports Media covers high-school athletics across the region, with a primary focus on football during the fall season and additional sports throughout the school year. This page explains what's covered and what to expect from an assignment.

## What to expect from an assignment

## How assignments are prioritized

Because North Texas Sports is a small independent operation, not every request can be accepted. Priority generally goes to:

* Games submitted well in advance of the season.
* Matchups with regional or playoff significance.
* Schools and programs with established coverage history.
